Quantum XAUUSD Silver Trader

One signal for Gold (XAUUSD) and Silver (XAGUSD) built from several readings at once. On every new bar the EA adds up RSI distance from 50, ADX strength, the gap between a 50 and a 200 moving average and a volatility measure, each with its own weight. Above the threshold it buys, below the negative threshold it sells, and a low volatility filter keeps it out of dead markets.

Stop loss and take profit are multiples of ATR, and the lot is sized from your risk percent and that stop distance, with a margin check before every order. Once a trade moves one ATR in profit an adaptive trailing stop takes over and widens or tightens with volatility. Gold and Silver have their own presets that switch automatically from the chart symbol, broker suffixes included.

Capital protection sits on top: daily drawdown, total drawdown and a daily loss limit pause trading, and an optional hard stop closes everything. The signal also includes an internal state term that adds variation between runs. You can switch it off for fully repeatable backtests, and you should test both ways before trusting any result.

Update v1.1 (October 2026): header and documentation rewritten, link to my MQL5 channel for updates, brand line on top of the inputs, Gold and Silver presets now also detect broker suffixes such as XAUUSDm or XAGUSD.r, and the EA now checks that the market is open before sending an entry. Trading logic unchanged, your settings keep working.

Settings

  • 1) Money management: base and maximum risk per trade in percent, position size cap by equity, risk up after a win and down after a loss, micro account mode for small deposits.
  • 2) Entry signal: analysis timeframe (M15 by default), decision threshold, and for each module (RSI, ADX, moving averages, volatility, internal state) an on and off switch plus its weight.
  • 3) Stop loss and take profit: ATR period and the ATR multipliers for stop and target, minimum bars between trades.
  • 4) Trailing stop: base and maximum ATR multiplier, activation distance in ATR, sensitivity to volatility.
  • 5) Capital protection: maximum daily and total drawdown in percent, daily loss limit in percent, in money and in ATR, optional hard stop.
  • 6) Symbol presets: separate stop, target, risk, spacing, trailing and volatility values for Gold and for Silver, applied automatically. Turn them off to use section 1 to 4 on any symbol.
  • 7) and 8): advanced state engine and an experimental optimization mode for the strategy tester. Leave them at default unless you are studying the code.

How to use it

Attach it to an XAUUSD or XAGUSD chart, any chart timeframe works because the analysis timeframe is an input. Start in the strategy tester with real ticks, then a demo account. Keep the risk at the default 0.5 percent until you know how the drawdown behaves on your broker, and remember it manages every position on the chart symbol, so run it on a symbol where you do not trade by hand.

Make it yours

Each module is a separate block inside the signal function, so you can remove one, change its weight or add your own, for example a Smart Money Concepts structure filter, support and resistance zones or a session filter. Run your own backtests on XAUUSD and XAGUSD and try the same logic on EURUSD, US30 or NAS100 with the presets switched off.
